OCU is the road network maintenance provider for Lumen. Our teams are responsible for repairs across COLT Neo’s (Lumen’s 500km fibre network) both proactively and reactively.
Our service includes handling high numbers of network enquiries to provide specialist services to deliver C3-C9 lift and shift diversionary works and a dedicated 24/7 emergency response to fibre faults within England, Scotland and Wales. We provide a two-hour rapid response, coordinated through our dedicated Customer Care Centre.

COLT Neo’s network is vastly spread across the UK.
The network is extremely complex; due to past acquisitions it is a combination of many different networks.
The various networks use different colour codes, cable types and joint enclosures which are highly networked, carrying large volumes of data for their extensive client base.

OCU use a regional model to ensure time to site service level agreements are met.
Stock is strategically located to meet the needs of our client enabling quick mobilisation and deployment of engineers and materials.
