Penwortham BESS - Howick Cross

Project Location:
Preston, Lancashire
Client Name:
Gresham House
Project Description:
OCU were brought in to take over rectification of the design, finalising construction and completing the energisation of site following the former supplier's liquidation.
Our first task was to revise the design to a point the DNO (ENWL) would accept and sign off all items remaining. Our site team and design team worked closely together to finalise previous issues giving our client confidence in us and the future of the site.
Our client had capacity market deadlines and fines if energisation did not complete on schedule. Our construction team worked closely with the design team to optimise delivery on a very short programme.
