Celebrating our supply chain at our first Supply Chain Conference and Awards Ceremony
OCU Group recently welcomed more than 100 suppliers to its first Supply Chain Conference and Awards ceremony at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.
The event brought together colleagues from across the business, including board-level representatives and teams spanning operations, procurement, SHESQ, sustainability, plant, and fleet. It provided an opportunity for suppliers to gain a deeper understanding of OCU’s business and future ambitions, helping to align ways of working as the Group continues to grow.
With sustainability a key focus, discussions explored the importance of collaboration in supporting OCU’s sustainability ambitions and driving positive change throughout its supply chain. The conference also highlighted the role our suppliers play in supporting our operations and service delivery, while identifying opportunities to build stronger partnerships for the future.
As part of the event, suppliers were recognised for their contributions to the business. The awards celebrated their role in maintaining high standards across the Group, from supporting innovation and sustainable practices, to ensuring strong delivery and performance.
