The OCU Foundation held its second annual Charity Dinner on Friday 24 October at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, bringing together more than 300 colleagues, suppliers, partners and guests for an evening dedicated to community, charity and collective impact.

The event was a great success, raising £85,000 in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust and moving the Foundation closer to its goal of donating £100,000 to the charity this year.

An evening of purpose

Guests enjoyed fine dining, live music, entertainment and charity auctions - all in support of young people living with cancer. Attendees included colleagues from across OCU Group, key suppliers, partners, and representatives from smaller charities supported by the Foundation, including the Men’s Mental Health Group (MMHG).

An Inspiring Story

One of the most moving moments of the evening came when Terence, the evening’s special guest, shared his experience of being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just 16. His story of resilience and the essential support he received from Teenage Cancer Trust reminded everyone why events like this matter.

A celebration of generosity

The evening’s success was made possible by the incredible support of colleagues, partners and guests. From auction bids and donations to sponsorship and shared enthusiasm, every contribution played a part in making the event both memorable and meaningful.

The OCU Foundation and its trustees extend their sincere thanks to everyone who supported the event. Your generosity will help provide life-changing support for young people at a time when they need it most.
